The concert performance of ”Dialogue-East meets West”, featuring Michala Petri, Lars Hannibal & Chen Yue will be held at the Shanghai Concert Hall on Sunday April 6th. The programme includes folk songs transcribed from Chinese, Mongolian and Danish, and popular European Classical music. In addition, the concert will feature the world premiere of 2 new Duets for Xiao and Recorder by Chinese composer Chen Gang and Danish composer Pernille Sejlund.

about Michala Petri :
Michala Petri is the world's most reknowned recorder player. She has cooperated with many top musicians, including Keith Jarrett, Pinchas Zukerman, Sir James Galway, etc. In 1995 she was awarded the Order Knight of Dannebrog by the Queen of Denmark. She received the Deutscher Schallplattenpreis prize in 1997 and 2002. In 1998 she was awarded the Wilhelm Hansen Music Prize and the H.C. Lumbye Prize. In June 2000, Michala Petri received the most prestigious Sonning Music Prize, and in 2005 the “European Soloist Prize”, and was nominated for a Grammy Award in 2007.
